Carmel Village Inn has free off-street parking, a big plus when visiting Carmel by-the-Sea.  However, parking is limited, so be sure to arrive early enough to get a space in their lot.

Carmel Village Inn – Great Location to Explore Carmel CA

Carmel Village Inn is across the street from Devendorf Park. It’s a lovely area for relaxing on a village bench and enjoying your morning coffee. When the stores open at 10am, stroll across from the Carmel Village Inn to the southwest corner of Ocean Avenue in Carmel and explore the Carmel Plaza.  There are three levels of shops in Carmel Plaza.  If you brought your dog, you can show him the Fountain of Woof, located on the lower level.

Walk to Carmel Beach from the Carmel Village Inn

It’s about a 10 minute walk from Carmel Village Inn, down Ocean Avenue to Carmel Beach. Of course, that’s if you don’t stop and shop along the way!

Wine Tasting from Carmel Village Inn

Carmel Village Inn offers free parking for guests.  Leave your car and head out for some wine tasting at one of the nearly 20 wine tasting rooms in Carmel by-the-Sea.

Carmel Accommodations at Carmel Village Inn

Carmel Village Inn is two stories.  If you’re looking for a little more quiet, you might consider requesting a second floor room.  There’s a light breakfast in the morning.  If you’d prefer, Bruno’s Market & Deli is just up the street on Junipero.  It’s a great place for fresh orange juice.  You can also get snacks and sandwiches to go.

Rooms all have coffee makers set on the vanities in the bathrooms so you can make coffee or tea to start your day.

Carmel Village Inn provides limited off-street parking.  It’s best to arrive early to be sure to get a parking spot.

While Carmel Village Inn is considered a “budget” inn in Carmel by the Sea, its main attraction is its great location. You can walk to shops, restaurants, the Carmel Plaza, Sunset Center, and a little farther to Carmel Beach.  It’s also an easy drive to the Carmel Mission or to Pebble Beach golf course.
